Protect yourself and the owner with large clean blankets. The blanket behind the contractor on the fire logs is protecting the contractor so he can stay clean. The other blankets are there to keep the owner's carpet clean.
Notice the use of the infrared camera to spot the baby raccoons in the chimney in the second picture.
