Using a 4" saw, you can cut a clean 4" hole allowing access to the raccoons through a vaulted ceiling. Notice the electrical wire in the image. Be careful to only cut the half-inch depth of the sheet rock and no further to avoid penetrating wires or causing unnecessary damage.
