In the image below you can see that the ladder is being supported by wires wrapped around the ladder and drilled down with screws and washers. This prevents the ladder from falling and can easily be removed when the ladder needs to be placed elsewhere. (Click image to enlarge).
In the next image, observe that a prybar has been pounded into the ground to secure the ladder in place. Use this method to make sure your ladder doesn't shift and stays firmly secured in place. (Click image to enlarge.)
